Ingredients and Quantity:

 

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1/4 cup granulated sugar

– 2 teaspoons baking powder

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 cup  unsalted butter, into  pieces

– 3/4 cup heavy cream

– 1 egg, beaten

– 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced

 

Instructions:

 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a  , whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add cold butter and use a pastry blender or your fingers to work it into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together heavy cream and egg. Add to the dry ingredients and stir until the dough comes together.
  5. Fold in diced strawberries.
  6. Roll out dough on a floured surface to about  thickness. Cut into desired shapes.
  7. Place on prepared baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
